Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology (OIMT) Rishikesh, Uttaranchal is an exceptional educational institution of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas and was founded by Paramahamsa Omkarananda Saraswati in July 1999. The first professionally administered institute of higher education in Uttaranchal dedicated to management and technology credentials and expertise; it continues its legacy of excellence in providing "value-based" education.

In 2005, the President of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, Swami Vishveshwarananda accepted "The Pride of Uttaranchal Award" for the outstanding contributions of the Omkarananda Ashram and its Charitable Trusts to the field of education, specifically in the Garhwal region of Uttaranchal.

OIMT has a beautiful campus with state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated and experienced instructors, and fully-accredited courses. The MBA programme of the institute is affiliated with Uttaranchal Technical University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE). The BBA and BCA courses are affiliated with HNB Garhwal University in Srinagar, Uttaranchal.
