Industrial visit to Tehri Dam by BCA Students on 9th Dec 06.

BCA students visited Tehri Dam for industrial study, accompanied by the faculty members Mr. Vikram Kapoor, Mr. Pramod Uniyal, Narendra Panwar, Dr. Tariq Juffer and Mr. Rajat Dimri.

It was a most exciting experience to the students, as it added to their knowledge and skills in addition to the enjoyment of the grandeur and beauty of natural surrounding of the Dam site.

The whole system is computerized and has the latest computer technology to control and regulate the flow of water & other mechanical operations. Hence it was very useful to the BCA students.

Mr. Bhatt, Chief Engineer, explained minutely the various technical processes / Operations of the Dam to the students. We all are grateful to him for his guidance, Co-operation, sharing his vast knowledge and experience with us all.

The students expressed their curiosity and inquisitiveness and put various interesting questions to Mr. Bhatt, who answered their questions and satisfied them. It was a wonderful interaction which added to the knowledge of the students.
